About Truth x Vision
Truth x Vision is a non-profit organization designed to help alleviate the struggles of the poor by awakening a social consciousness embedded within the rich.
Truth x Vision was created with the intent to bring about moral revolution, social redirection and economic restoration by joining the ideas of pursuing truth and developing vision based on that truth. We feel that if one is able to ground his or her life on these two concepts, everything else will fall into place. TxV is focused on radically changing the mentalities held by the majority of the youth who embrace street and pop culture. From fashion to music to property development, TxV hopes to demolish traditional ways of thinking by pushing this "Theory of Revolution" relentlessly in the name of the Most High.
Truth x Vision aims to primarily affect the spiritual, social, and economic aspects of society. Spiritually, we wish to alter the popular view of God which portrays Him as convenient, conservative and censored. While God is the epitome of love, it seems that too many people only turn to Him only when it is the easy thing to do. To summarize some of Talib Kweli's thoughts, too many people "live it up" on Saturday because they know they can ask for forgiveness tomorrow. TxV wishes to show God's love, but also His pure hatred and intolerance for immorality. Additionally, we would like to portray God as a passionate, creative Being who is not afraid to speak His mind. Too often people disassociate from God because they have this misconception that he is not "real" enough. We seek to shred this notion and prove that living in true obedience to the God of the universe is as hardcore of a lifestyle as it gets.
Socially, Truth x Vision will try to spread its message of global transformation through any and all venues. Fashion, TV, Music, Racing, Magazines, Art....anything we can conjure up. We will become a prominent force in everything we do, because nobody will listen to you until they respect you. We want people to feel like they can relate to us, but at the same time show them that you don't HAVE to embrace the weak immorality which embodies much of the street and pop culture we are trying to infiltrate.
Economically, TxV plans to function as a prospering non-profit business. Just because we hope to spread a moral message does not mean we will give all our t-shirts and albums away. However, the cash generated from TxV will not be going into any of our pockets. We want to change the world, and in today's society, using money is a quite feasible method to bring about that change. Once TxV becomes the dynasty we are working to make it, the correlation between our proceeds and the change we wish to create in the world will become more and more evident. Spiritually and socially our primary target is ethical indifference, but economically we are going all out on poverty by providing micro loans, sponsorships, and anything else than can help bridge the financial gap plaguing our world.
